Little Flower School, Narayangarh is an English Medium School established under the Nepal Little Flower Society(Reg. No. 724/053/54) and directly governed and administrated by the Fathers of the Little Flower Congregation.
The School aims at the integral development of personality of every child to make him/her committed to the service of God and of Nepal, intilling in him/her a spirit of compassion, unselfish service, dedication to the duty, love for fellowmen and a thirst for wisdom and excellence. Our earnest effort is to give equal importance to the moral development of students thereby helping them to form a strong character. Students are encouraged to maintain high ideals in their life and strive for excellence in all the fields by inculcating into them values of freedom and justice and respect for law and order.
Students will be taught to respect and maintain the cultural heritage of Nepal. The school will take every effort to form the students to be loyal and committed citizens of Nepal enabling them to render efficient and excellent service to the nation and fellowmen.
The motto of the school is "Lead Kindly Light" i.e. to dispel the inner darkness through the radiance of knowledge.
There are two reasons behind the establishment of Little Flower Ashram in Nepal.
(1) Nepal is one of the 12 most undeveloped countries in the world and hence its people were more deserving of our services and support in tune with the charism of our Congregation.
Little Flower School was established in the year 1994 for the first time in Nepal in Narayangarh, Chitwan District.The school has achieved the high reputation and is honored as one of the best school in chitwan district. Not only that, it is well know in the whole country with the sweet name 'Little Flower'. The first batch of class X students of LFS appeared for their SLC examination in 2005 and all passed with flying colors Today the strength of the School is above 1300 and has become a reputed educational institution in the area.
In the afternoon, the school runs primary classes in Nepali medium for the poor children of the surrounding places. This clearly shows that Little Flower School is a kind of not-for-profit organisation. Teachers in LFS are highly motivated and are close to their students which has developed the lovely environment for the students to bloom and boost up their confident. LFS is meant to cater to the educational needs of all classes of people.
There is also a Catholic Community in Narayangarh and the ashram's presence is a big consolation for them for maintaining their spiritual well- being.
